About

I’m a software engineer who learns by building. When I don’t understand how something works, I set it up myself, break it, and fix it. This blog documents that learning process.

I’m drawn to complex systems and making them work reliably — including infrastructure and DevOps. Container orchestration, deployment pipelines, observability, automation. My homelab (media server and Ubuntu VMs) is where I experiment. I work primarily with Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Airflow, expanding into Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure. The approach matters more than specific technologies: understand the fundamentals, build something real, learn from what breaks.
